Campaign Begins to Fund a New NICU Ambulance

Phoebe Foundation is excited to share that all Children’s Miracle Network funds raised locally in 2020 will help fund a brand new, state-of-the-art NICU ambulance to serve Phoebe’s 22-county service area across Southwest Georgia. Phoebe is one of Georgia’s six state-designated perinatal centers and the only hospital in the region devoted to critically ill newborns.

Out of 650 NICU patients we treated last year, 174 needed transport. Our transport team spent 870 hours on the road in 2019, which is 250 more hours than in 2018. This ambulance is a huge need and will be a blessing to our Southwest Georgia community. The ambulance will cost around $275,000, and we believe every dollar counts in helping us reach out goal!
