Santa Visits Pediatrics Patients!

When most children think of Christmas, they think of Christmas trees, presents, stockings hung over the fireplace, hot chocolate, Santa Claus, and time spent with their family and friends. For children in the hospital at Christmas time, these traditions most children take for granted seem far away.

Thursday, December 23, Santa Claus visited all the Pediatric patients at Phoebe to bring them some Christmas cheer during a time no child wants to be at the hospital. The children lit up with excitement and joy when they saw Santa Claus come into their room with a toy just for them!

To be a Children’s Miracle Network hospital means to cater to our children in any way we can and make sure that they still feel like a kid during some of the hardest days they face. We are so thankful for all of our hospital staff, and give special thanks to those that sacrificed time with their own families to care for our patients.
