Walmart and Sam’s Club Campaign a Huge Success in Albany, GA market!

This Fall, from August 29 to October 9, Walmart and Sam’s Club will be raising money for Children’s Miracle Network at the register and throughout their stores! They have been doing an incredible job so far, as the Albany, GA market is currently number 3 in the nation for how much they have increased their fundraising total from 2015 to 2016.

You will see the stores hold various fundraisers during this time- whether it’s a crazy hat contest, bake sale, cookout, or miracle Jeans day. The stores get extremely creative and they are all striving to surpass their total from last year.

Since 1987, Walmart and Sam’s Club have raised over $870 million, most of it $1 at a time. As I have visited each of the 15 stores in our market, I have found that every store has associates who have been personally impacted by Children’s Miracle Network. At Walmart and Sam’s Club, the associates are so passionate about the cause because they know how big of an impact each dollar has that is raised. Every single dollar raised through this campaign stays local in Southwest Georgia and helps children treated at Phoebe.

As you go visit Walmart and Sam’s Club the next three weeks, think about rounding up or giving a dollar (or more) to make a huge difference in the life of a child!
